CPA™
Conscious Physical Assessment™
O Conscious Physical Assessment™ (CPA™) constitui a segunda etapa fundamental do PROFF Method™.
A postura contém informação.
O movimento contém informação.
A respiração contém informação.
Ver.
Testar.
Relacionar.
Compreender.
Online
A tecnologia aproxima.
A metodologia organiza.
A observação continua humana.
A Pergunta Central
os recursos;
as limitações;
os desequilíbrios;
as necessidades;
O CPA™ no PROFF System™
O CPA™ constitui a segunda etapa central do PROFF System™.
O:
CPM™ — Conscious Pattern Mapping™
O:
CPA™ — Conscious Physical Assessment™
observa a sua expressão física e funcional.
E ambos convergem no:
CPC™ — Conscious Phenomenological Coherence™

CPA™
Conscious Physical Assessment™
The Body as Information
The body is continuously adapting.
To movement.
To rest.
To stress.
To nutrition.
To the environment.
To age.
To each person's history.
Observing the body means understanding an essential part of how we are living.
What is CPA™?
Conscious Physical Assessment™ (CPA™) is the second core stage of the PROFF Method™.
It is an integrated physical assessment designed to understand a person's current state and how their body functions, responds and adapts.
Its purpose is not to observe the body in isolation.
It is to understand it within the context of the person.
Because health, behaviour, habits and lifestyle continuously influence one another.
The Principle
The body contains information.
Posture contains information.
Movement contains information.
Breathing contains information.
Energy, sleep and recovery do too.
In isolation, each indicator reveals only one part.
Observed together, they begin to reveal an organisation.
CPA™ seeks to make that organisation visible.
What Does CPA™ Observe?
CPA™ provides an integrated assessment of different physical and functional dimensions, according to each person's reality and individual needs.
It may include:
• Relevant physical and health history
• Body composition
• Posture
• Mobility
• Movement
• Breathing
• Strength and functional capacity
• Energy and vitality
• Sleep and recovery
• Nutrition and hydration
• Physical activity
• Rhythms and routines
• Lifestyle habits
• Relevant physical signs and manifestations
• Available physiological indicators
No indicator is interpreted in isolation.
The purpose is to understand relationships.
In Person
During an in-person assessment, the body can be observed directly through movement, posture, breathing and other relevant physical and functional indicators.
Direct observation allows the assessment to be adapted to the individual in real time.
See.
Test.
Connect.
Understand.
Online
CPA™ can also be conducted online.
Through structured anamnesis, guided observation, information provided by the individual and available data, it is possible to build a relevant physical and functional understanding even at a distance.
When necessary, additional information may be requested or an in-person assessment by an appropriate healthcare professional may be recommended.
Technology brings us closer.
Methodology provides structure.
Observation remains human.
An Integrated Approach
CPA™ does not attempt to explain every physical manifestation through a single cause.
A change may have a physical origin.
Physiological.
Functional.
Behavioural.
Environmental.
Hereditary.
Accidental.
Psychosomatic.
Or it may result from the interaction of several factors.
For this reason, the first principle is to observe before interpreting.
The body should not be reduced to a single explanation.
It should be understood within its context.
The Central Question
How is the body, and how is it functioning?
The answer helps us understand not only the person's current state, but also the factors that may be influencing their capacity for adaptation, recovery and evolution.
The Outcome
At the end of CPA™, there is a more structured understanding of the person's physical and functional dimensions.
What becomes clearer are:
resources;
limitations;
imbalances;
needs;
and opportunities for improvement.
This information does not exist in isolation.
It becomes part of a broader understanding of the individual.
CPA™ within the PROFF System™
CPA™ is the second core stage of the PROFF System™.
CPM™ — Conscious Pattern Mapping™
makes visible the patterns that influence how a person thinks, feels, decides, relates and lives.
CPA™ — Conscious Physical Assessment™
observes their physical and functional expression.
And both converge within:
CPC™ — Conscious Phenomenological Coherence™
where patterns, body, history and context are connected in search of an integrated and coherent understanding.
The body does not exist separately from life.
To observe the body is to observe part of our history.
Understanding comes before transformation.
